About Me

I create hand-drawn memorial portraits to honor the people and beloved pets we’ve lost.

My journey into this work began in prison. During the height of the pandemic, I was released and came home determined to build a better life. Since then, I finally found true freedom — working, drawing, and creating a life I’m truly proud of.

What started as a way to survive became my greatest passion. With no formal training, I taught myself to draw using nothing but pencil and paper. Over the years I developed a deep respect for the power of a portrait — especially one created to remember someone who is no longer here.

Today, I specialize in memorial portraits of both people and pets. I understand how important it is to capture not just a likeness, but the spirit, personality, and love that made them unforgettable. Each piece is drawn with care, patience, and the understanding that it will become a lasting family treasure.

Whether it’s a parent, sibling, child, or a beloved dog or cat, my goal is always the same: to create a portrait that brings comfort and keeps their memory alive for generations.

I only accept a small number of commissions each month so I can give every piece the time, attention, and heart it truly deserves.
