About Me

I create hand-drawn memorial portraits to honor the people and beloved pets we’ve lost.

My journey as an artist began in an unexpected place. While I was in prison, drawing became more than something to pass the time — it became a way for me to focus, grow, and hold onto hope. During the height of the pandemic, I was released and came home determined to build a better life.

Since then, art has become a huge part of my freedom. Through hard work, patience, and faith in the process, I taught myself to draw using nothing but pencil and paper. What started as a way to survive slowly became my greatest passion.

Over time, I developed a deep respect for the power of a portrait — especially one created in memory of someone who is no longer here. A memorial portrait is more than a picture. It carries love, grief, memories, and the little details that made that person or pet unforgettable.

Today, I specialize in hand-drawn memorial portraits of both people and pets. My goal is not only to capture a likeness, but to honor the spirit, personality, and love behind every face I draw. Each piece is created with care, patience, and the understanding that it may become a lasting family treasure.

Whether it’s a parent, sibling, child, friend, or a beloved dog or cat, my purpose is always the same: to create a portrait that brings comfort, tells a story, and helps keep their memory alive for generations.

I only accept a small number of commissions each month so I can give every portrait the time, attention, and heart it truly deserves.
